For the past fifteen years, Los Angeles based artist Jean Edelstein has been documenting her visits to botanical gardens, natural areas, music and dance performances in Chinese accordion books. A multidimensional artistic collaboration with prints on paper, sculpture and a video documenting the creative process of the art pieces. Teel Sale is the poet whose work inspired this collaboration. Nancy Klapp will exhibit a series of three dimensional pieces and Gloria Sanchez Hart’s participation will consist of a site installation of monoprints on paper. William E. Mackie will create a documentary film of the artistic processes.

An exhibition of marker-wash-on-Mylar drawings by Richard Arredondo. Creating a personal expression that explores historical, architectural and narrative themes, Richard’s pen-and-ink technique displays a lithographic quality and style that verges on a subtle mystic realism manifested by his singular use of Magic Marker wash.
