The Bihl Haus Arts logo was designed by Rabkar Wangchuck, a former Tibetan monk exiled in India, who was a visiting artist at Bihl Haus Arts in 2006. The letters “BH” are formed by elegant narrow yellow lines that refer to the mullions and rails of the gallery’s double-hung windows. They are enclosed by a circle, the symbol of perfection, in warm yellow—representing intuition—, a reference to the light that penetrates the gallery throughout the day as it bounces off the period pine floors. The letters are set against cool blue—symbolizing thought and spirit—, which alludes to the sky visible through the second floor windows.
